The Wellness Council is a chapter of the DOE’s Wellness Council, and we operate within the Stuyvesant community in order to make our school a healthier place. The Wellness Council works for students to have the opportunity to achieve personal, academic, developmental, and social success. The Wellness Council acknowledges that students need positive, supportive, and health-promoting learning environments at every level, in every setting, throughout the school year. We make sure we can provide healthy instruction, environment and opportunities by making students engage in healthy behaviors.
